Security at Gamescom 2019 and Cosplay Rules
Bags and backpacks are already checked in front of the exhibition grounds. To keep waiting times short, Gamescom asks visitors to only take what they really need with them. For cosplayers, i.e. disguised visitors, special rules apply once again: Real weapons or pyrotechnics, for example, are not permitted.

Age ribbon at Gamescom 2019
Since not every game at the fair is suitable for every age, ribbons will be distributed at the entrance. Visitors must be able to prove their identity. At the stands it is then easy to see who is allowed to play a title and who is not. Green stands for an age rating from 12 years, blue from 16 years and red for 18 years.

YouTuber at Gamescom 2019
Although it is the games in particular that attract many thousands of visitors every year, the YouTuber games to be found at Gamescom have also been a source of enthusiasm for some years now. A special Meet&Greet area – the Signing Area – has been set up in Hall 11.2 to meet your favourite YouTuber live. It will be open from 12 noon on all days of the fair. According to current planning, these webstars will be among those present:
